I got started in the coin laundry business out of necessity, I had several apartments that we managed and the tenants kept asking for laundry services. None of the buildings had laundry equipment so I bought my first set of washers and driers installed them and went on to the next building. Before I know it, I had equipment in about 10 locations and was make a nice profit.

The next step for me was to buy a laundry and continue the process. I began looking for the first store while doing research and figuring out the market (still don’t have it figured out completely, it is changing daily). About a year and a half later I bought the first store and year after that the next.

The Coin Laundry Association (CLA) has been a big help and anybody who is not a member I would recommend they become one. It is well worth the cost.
